Sliding support pads for pipelines are made from "Polyceramoplast" and serve as a sliding layer between the pipe and the support/shoe. The material, with its low coefficient of friction (dry friction as low as 0.1), ensures free thermal movement, reduces loads on anchors and expansion joints, and protects the pipe from wear.
Polymer inserts require no lubrication, do not absorb water, and do not corrode in outdoor conditions. They are chemically resistant, operate across a wide temperature range, dampen noise and vibrations, and also electrically insulate the pipe steel from the support metal, preventing galvanic corrosion. Compared to metal and PTFE inserts, "Polyceramoplast" pads are lighter, more impact-resistant, and less sensitive to contamination from sand/ice.
Sheet for the base of a sliding support (sole), segmented strips for clamps/saddles, side guide pads. Thickness and material grade are selected based on load, diameter, and required service life; the shape conforms to the support geometry and can feature chamfers or drainage grooves.
Reduced friction and loads within the support system.
·Protection of the pipe and supports from wear and seizure.
·No maintenance required (lubrication-free).
·Operation in outdoor and aggressive environments.
·Quick replacement of sections during scheduled maintenance.
